All processing steps within mechanical manufacturing comply with DIN EN 61439 for standard-compliant switchgear and control system construction.

Well-equipped – efficiently organized

esmatic has a complete 750 m² facility available for mechanical manufacturing and the storage of standard components. A second 1,150 m² facility is dedicated to electrical wiring. It is equipped with machinery that covers all processing steps and operates extremely efficiently thanks to partial automation. The machine park includes, among other things, an NC Cut, an automatic wiring machine for series production, and a ModCenter – detailed information on this can be found under Equipment. With regard to the materials used, we primarily work with market leaders such as Rittal and Siemens.

Below is a list of the work steps that—depending on the control cabinet’s design—are required during mechanical manufacturing:

I Mechanical Machining

Control Cabinets

Sheet steel, stainless steel, and plastic
Drilling, tapping, milling (CNC machining)
Cutouts and holes for all control cabinet components and built-in devices

Mounting Plates

Installation of mounting rails and cable channels
Installation of complete busbar systems, power outlets, etc.
Installation of all components, terminals, and devices

II Assembly and Disassembly of Cabinets and Devices

Assembly of all control cabinet components (doors, side panels, viewing windows, chassis, 19" equipment, special components, etc.)

III Processing of Busbars

Processing of copper busbars according to customer specifications up to a size of 125 x 13 mm

esmatic is particularly valued for its comprehensive range of services: As one of the few companies in the region, we offer a complete package ranging from expert consultation to custom(Link) and series production(Link), including planning, manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning. However, you also have the option of commissioning us exclusively for the mechanical manufacturing sub-process or utilizing individual processing steps listed above as an outsourced service—for example, if, as a specialist in control cabinet assembly, you do not have the complete equipment for mechanical manufacturing.
